Sacramento International Airport will host the inaugural flight next week for Volaris, a low-cost carrier from Mexico. The airline will offer three flights a week to and from Guadalajara.

The additional carrier gives the local airport two international carriers, both of whom serve the active Sacramento-Mexico market. Aeromexico, a more full-service airline, already flies from Sacramento's Terminal B to Guadalajara.

A Volaris ceremonial first flight is set for Nov. 15 and regular service is scheduled to begin the following week, airport officials said.
