Thousands of foodies, art lovers and wine and beer connoisseurs are expected to descend on a Sonoma County ranch for a festive, delicious weekend.
The 20th annual Bodega Seafood, Art & Wine Festival will be held in the sleepy village where Alfred Hitchcock famously filmed “The Birds.” Poultry won’t be the specialty, though. Get ready for barbecued oysters, crab cakes, fish tacos, swordfish souvlaki and more. Wine and beer are also on tap: 35 wineries and 18 microbreweries will pour tasting flights. And on top of a juried art show, there will be three stages of live entertainment – musicians as well as a magician, comedian and juggler.
The festival will take place 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Aug. 24 on Watts Ranch, 16855 Bodega Highway, Bodega. Admission is $15, free for children under 12. Learn more at www.bodegaseafoodfestival.com.
