Laguna Beach’s annual Festival of the Arts will revive its Pageant of the Masters exhibit, with famous paintings and other artworks transformed and faithfully re-created by actors. Guests will settle in an outdoor amphitheater, serenaded by an orchestra and taking in live narration of classical and contemporary artworks.
Explore Diego Rivera’s murals, Henri Matisse’s use of color and Harriet Whitney Frishmuth’s sculptures, to name a few.
The pageat runs from Thursday, July 7, through Aug. 31. Ticket prices range from $30 to $70, and group discounts are offered.
