Longtime actor and director Clint Eastwood is working on his next film. To do so, he has come to Sacramento.
“The 15:17 to Paris” scheduled to debut Feb. 9, 2018, is about three local men – Anthony Sadler, Spencer Stone and Alek Skarlatos – and the role they played in stopping a terrorist attack on a train in Europe. While riding from Amsterdam to Paris on Aug. 21, 2015, they took down a man who was armed with an assault rifle and pistol as he left a bathroom on the train.
Sadler posted a photo on his Instagram page with Eastwood and two other people on Tower Bridge Gateway in West Sacramento, with the bridge seen in the background.
Never miss a local story.
“We making a movie,” Sadler wrote with the photo.
The childhood friends will star as themselves alongside Jenna Fischer, Judy Greer and Jaleel White.
