Always a big day for movies, Christmas Day will be star-studded, starting with Martin Scorsese’s fourth collaboration with Leonardo DiCaprio, “The Wolf of Wall Street.”

Another longtime Scorsese collaborator, Robert De Niro, plays off his “Raging Bull” persona in the comedy “Grudge Match,” co-starring “Rocky’s” Sylvester Stallone. Director and actor Ben Stiller teams with Kristen Wiig in reviving James Thurber’s adventurer-in-his-dreams character in “The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.”

The late South African President Nelson Mandela receives the biopic treatment in “Mandela.”

Here are some movie reviews:

“Grudge Match” pulls its punches.

Wolves of Wall Street” over indulges

Stiller’s “Walter Mitty” is slight but sweet

And here’s a capsule listing of current releases.

Look for a review of “47 Ronin,” which also opens Wednesday, in Friday’s Ticket.
