Heavy metal favorites Avenged Sevenfold is set to bring its two-guitar crunch and tricky time signatures back to Sacramento, with a show at Golden 1 Center on July 31.
The band last played the Capital City in October as a co-headliner at Discovery Park’s Aftershock music festival. Known for such hard rock hits as “Bat Country” and “Nightmare,” Avenge Sevenfold also is spending a chunk of 2017 as an opener for Metallica (who thus far has skipped Sacramento on its latest round of tour dates).
Avenged Sevenfold’s latest tour dates were announced by Live Nation, which is handling ticket sales for the show. Members of Avenged Sevenfold’s fan club will have first dibs on tickets, with a pre-sale starting at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 14. Citi cardholders will have access to pre-sale tickets at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 15. Internet presales via www.livenation.com will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 16.
Tickets for the general public will be released at 10 a.m. Friday, March 17. The price range is listed as $36-$66.
