Can we Sacramentans get enough chicken? Short answer: Apparently not.

Coming to the quick-eats scene is the Sacramento Chicken Co., to occupy the site of a former Merlino’s Freeze stand at 2790 Stockton Blvd. So reports Greg Brown for Valley Community Newspapers at The restaurant will specialize in jerk and fried chicken, “tasty sides” and, of course, the iconic Merlino’s freezes.

We’ll be taking a look and reporting back in the “First Impressions” column in an upcoming Ticket section.
