Here’s one more way for chocolate-lovers to satisfy their passion: The third annual Sacramento Chocolate Salon will present a spread of “artisanal, gourmet and premium” chocolates from more than 20 chocolatiers, confectioners and wineries.
Look for chocolate- and wine-tastings, presentations by chefs and authors, chocolate-making demonstrations, and ongoing interviews of presenters and attendees conducted for TasteTV’s ChocolateTelevision program. Chocolatier Art Pollard of Amano Chocolate will be on hand. The New York Times ranked his company as the top bean-to-bar chocolate-maker in the U.S.
Bring your sweet tooth to Embassy Suites, 100 Capitol Mall on the Sacramento Riverfront, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 30. Tickets are $25 at the door, $20 in advance at www.sacramentochocolatesalon.com.
Bonus: If you’re wearing a Chocolate Salon wristband, you’ll get a 15 percent discount on food and drink at Embassy Suites’ Riverfront Cafe.
