Fruit salad and ambrosia, those sweet staples of the holiday table, are often made with tropical fruits including cherries, coconuts, pineapples, and even more interesting ingredients of passion fruit. If you would rather drink your fruit salad than eat it, though, try the Giffard Creme de Fruit de la Passion or Giffard Caribbean Pineapple, two of Giffard's liqueurs recently introduced in the U.S.
Giffard, the four-generation family-owned French maker of cocktail-focused liqueurs, has a range of products that not only includes its celebrated liqueurs, but also syrups and even sauces that has in its flavor profile mint to banana to ginger to vanilla.
Giffard's Creme de Fruit de la Passion is bursting with the flavor and aroma of passion fruit. If you like fruity and sweet juice drinks, or just the exotic flavor of passion fruit, this one's for you. A whiff of its tropical aroma will have you dreaming of an island getaway.
Giffard's Caribbean Pineapple is intensely tropical, too, and a splash of it in Christmas fruit salad gives it an extra edge (make sure all of your holiday guests are adults). With its spicy notes of clove and nutmeg, it works fabulously in winter cocktails and daiquiris as well.
Never miss a local story.
