More than a dozen Yolo County public offices will be closed for several days to save money.
The County Administrator, Clerk of the Board, Cooperative Extension, County Counsel, Local Agency Formation Commission, Planning and Public Works, and collection services departments will be closed from Dec. 22 through Jan. 2, according to a county news release.
The county Auditor-Controller/Treasurer-Tax Collector and Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health offices will be closed Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
The Alcohol, Drug and Mental Health office's crisis services will remain open. The crisis line is (888) 965-6647.
The Assessor and Child Support Services departments will be closed Dec. 22 through Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.
The agriculture department will be closed Dec. 26 through Dec. 31.
The county elections office will be closed Dec. 26.
The Parks and Resources administrative office will be closed in the afternoon on Dec. 24 and 26.
Yolo County branch libraries will close at 6 p.m. Dec. 24 and 31.
All county offices are closed Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

• Don't use all capital letters. That's akin to yelling and not appreciated by the audience.
