• Youth Development Network. "Ettore's Coffee Break" is Feb. 29 at the Elks Building Ballroom, 921 11th St., as the location from 9:30 to 11 a.m. In addition to Ettore Ravazzolo's bakery treats and Peerless coffee, the break will include a strawberry dipping and decorating contest featuring Cortez Quinn, Donald Terry, Jose Hermocillo and Sam Starks, the Strawberry Boys, vs. Mary Rotelli, Alice Perez, Rita Ruecker and Elfrena Foord, the Strawberry Girls. Kitty O'Neal will emcee the program, which will include the Rotary Rooters big-band sounds and John & Morgan Finegan singing "Sugar, Sugar." Tickets are $35; visit www.ydnetwork.org. The YDN provides training programs, networking and public- policy efforts to improve the quality of youth services by helping youths achieve personal and academic success.
