After years of thoughtful planning, design and development, The New Home Company and Riverview Capital Investments will hold the opening and launch of residential sales at McKinley Village this weekend.
The new urban master-planned community is located in historic East Sacramento and close to midtown and downtown Sacramento. A large selection of model homes as well as the community clubhouse and pool, the first neighborhood park and public art will be unveiled during a public Grand Opening Sept. 10-11.
McKinley Village is a progressive urban village of 336 homes co-developed by New Home and Riverview, designed to foster connectivity and healthy living with a wealth of parks, common greens, public art and a wide array of homeowner amenities.
“We have worked extremely hard over the past several years to get to this moment,” said Kevin Carson, Northern California President for The New Home Company. “McKin ley Village is unlike any other community in the Sacramento area and it has truly been a rewarding experience to contribute to such an innovative living concept that will provide new housing opportunities in the heart of our region. We’d like to thank the city of Sacramento, the residents of East Sacramento and our development partners for helping us make this a place that so many will be proud to call home.”
Never miss a local story.
“We are excited to see the vision of McKinley Village become a reality,” said Phil Angelides, President of Riverview. “We’ve been committed to creating a high quality, sustainable 21st century urban village close to jobs, schools, restaurants, shopping and services. We’re proud to showcase all that McKinley Village has to offer and look forward to it taking its place as the newest member of Sacramento’s wonderful family of neighborhoods.”
Each residence is pre-wired for solar and electric vehicle chargers with state of the art building standards that reflect the best environmental practices. The community has been planned with an eye on the future and how residents want to live in today’s high-tech world.
