1. GOVERNOR/BILL DEADLINE VO/SOT
The deadline for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to sign and veto bills through midnight Monday (all must be acted on by the end of October 14). 3. ENERGY EFFICIENCY BILLS VO/SOT
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is expected to sign several energy efficiency bills today. The authors and officials from the state's Environmental Protection Agency and Energy Commission will discuss those bills at the Cal EPA building this morning. Efforting soundbites and video.
4. BLACK CAUCUS PRIORITIES VO/SOT
The legislative black caucus will meet in Sacramento to discuss priorities for the upcoming 2008 legislative session. Efforting soundbites and video.

Disability Awareness Cal Trans will host a disability awareness fair at the State Capitol this morning and afternoon.
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger is in Los Angeles for private meetings.
The Senate and Assembly have adjourned for the 2007 session. Special session for water and healthcare are ongoing. The 2008 session starts January 7th.
