AROMAS -- A pair of small earthquakes have struck the Salinas Valley in California's Central Coast region, but there are no reports of any damage or injury.
A preliminary report by the U.S. Geological Survey says a magnitude-3.2 quake hit just before 5 a.m. Saturday. A second quake of the same magnitude in the same location followed two minutes later.
The quakes were centered 2 miles southeast of Aromas, 12 miles west of Hollister and 35 miles southeast of San Jose.
Sheriff dispatchers in Monterey and Santa Cruz counties say they have received no word of injuries or damage.
