Goodbye, summer
The end of summer is in the air. Squash foliage is looking tattered. Tomatoes are slowing down. Melons and pumpkins are taking center stage. It's only a matter of time until the first frosty night blackens the basil and marigolds. It's time to switch gears and either put the garden to bed, or get fall crops in the ground.
