Enjoy great eats and drinks from Tahoe's finest restaurants while contributing to a good cause. Friends of award-winning author and ski writer Robert "Fro" Frohlich, whose byline has appeared many times in The Bee and in many ski magazines, present a benefit from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort to provide financial assistance during his battle against cancer.
The event will include live music, a raffle, a silent auction and food from River Ranch, Graham's, Wolfdale's, Christy Hill, Moody's, Jake's, Sunnyside, Mamasake and others. Local athletes and Olympians will play host as celebrity bartenders. Raffle prizes will include vacations and a California Gold Ski Pass.
