The Adi Granth (Sikh holy book) being carried to the lead float at the 30th annual Nagar Kirtan parade in Yuba City during the 30th Annual Sikh Parade, which is the culmination of the three day event known as "Nagar Kirtan". Sierra College documentary photography students captured this colorful event on Sunday, November 1, 2009. Starting at the Sikh Temple in Yuba City, thousands from the Sikh community both locally and regionally join in the celebration of the Sikh holy book.
