Glacier Point Road in Yosemite National Park is now open for bicyclists and will open for automobile traffic on Monday at noon.
The road typically closes due to snow in November and reopens in the spring.
Park officials urge visitors to bike with caution while in the park as the roadway may be wet with melting snow and wildlife may be present on or near the road.
While vault toilets are available, there is no running water.
Never miss a local story.
National Park Service crews are currently working on clearing the Tioga Road, but there is still no anticipated opening date for that road.
No opening date for the Bridalveil Creek Campground was available as of Friday.
