The Boneshaker Community Brewery, a 4,500-square-foot restaurant and brewery, is opening to the public today in Rocklin.

The brewpub at 4810 Granite Drive becomes the second Rocklin-based enterprise of Sacramento native J.J. Anderson, who also owns and operates the Boneshaker Public House, a craft beer pub and eatery at 2168 Sunset Blvd.

“It has been fun and rewarding to be part of the craft beer growth here in Sacramento. There have been more breweries and craft beer joints opening in the past two years, and we’re looking forward to contributing to that community,” Anderson said.

Boneshaker Community Brewery’s hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. In addition to the main dining areas and bar, the new establishment also features patio areas and a private room for 12 to 14 people. In May, about 1,500 square feet of adjacent space will be opened for live entertainment and private events.
