California Family Fitness will open new club in the Pocket area this year

Orangevale-based California Family Fitness says it will add a new facility in south Sacramento this year.

CFF said construction at 1349 Florin Road in the Pocket neighborhood near Interstate 5 will begin in early July. The center is scheduled to open by the end of this year.

“Similar to our existing facilities, we are confident that the new club will provide innumerable health benefits to residents in the Pocket community,” said Randy Karr, CFF president.

CFF said its 30,000-square-foot “Pocket Club” will offer a wide range of exercise equipment, fitness classes, free weights, personal training, a cardio theater, child care, tanning, massage beds and a smoothie bar.
