Pennsylvania-based bridal wear and formal gown chain David’s Bridal, which earlier this year signed a 10-year lease for nearly 10,500 square feet of space in Sacramento’s Point West Plaza shopping center on Arden Way, will host opening festivities on Friday.
The new store at 1892 Arden Way is the second David’s Bridal in the area, joining the one at The Ridge at Creekside shopping complex along Galleria Boulevard in Roseville.
Grand-opening festivities at the Point West store are set for 11 a.m., with a “cutting of the tulle” featuring John and Treva Hurt, the Sacramento couple that recently marked their 70th wedding anniversary. Tulle is the thin netting commonly used in bridal attire.
The chain stores offer bridal wear ranging from $200 to nearly $2,000 from various designers. Some ready-to-wear gowns can be taken home on the day they are selected.
Never miss a local story.
David’s Bridal has more than 30 stores in California and more than 300 nationwide.
