The California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce will hold its annual convention Aug. 20-22 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento, 1230 J St., in Sacramento.
CHCC is comprised of more than 65 Hispanic chambers and business associations statewide, representing more than 700,000 business owners.
“With the Latino population now making up the majority in California, our 36th convention will focus on the growth of Latino businesses and the impact they are making statewide in the economy,” Alice Perez, CHCC president and CEO, said in a statement.
The Wells Fargo Bank-sponsored event also will include sessions focused on small business, Latina-owned businesses and entrepreneur opportunities to connect with major corporations and government agencies. A special business exposition with displays from Latino businesses statewide will be open to the public.
