West Sacramento-based Raley’s on Wednesday will co-host grand-opening ceremonies of a Food Source store in Stockton.
Festivities, including a ribbon cutting, are scheduled for 9 a.m. at 2323 W. Hammer Lane and will include Stockton Mayor Anthony Silva.
Raley’s has more than 120 stores in Northern California and Nevada under four banners: Raley’s Supermarkets, Bel Air Markets, Nob Hill Foods and Food Source.
Raley’s touts Food Source as a discount center, with a no-frills interior and comparatively low prices on produce, meat, baked goods and major grocery brands.
Chelsea Minor, a spokeswoman for the local grocer, said in an email that the Stockton site previously was home to a Raley’s store.
