The combined communities of Sacramento and Roseville received the No. 2 ranking on the U-Haul Top 10 U.S. Growth Cities for 2015.
Phoenix-based U-Haul International said it combined Sacramento and Roseville due to “dual downtown revitalization developments” and their close proximity.
U-Haul said rankings were determined by the net gain of incoming, one-way U-Haul truck rentals versus outgoing rentals in a calendar year. U-Haul said its locations in Roseville and Sacramento saw 51.5 percent of truck rental customers coming in as opposed leaving, and U-Haul arrivals increased 7 percent year-over-year.
Concord in the Bay Area was the nation’s top-ranked growth city in 2015. Manteca also made the top 10 list, ranked No. 9.
