Sprouts Farmers Market is looking to hire 70 at its five Sacramento-area stores.
Sprouts said it has about 50 “team member” job openings for its local stores and more than 20 open positions to fill in the “assistant department to assistant store management” segment.
The local job offerings are part of a nationwide “National Hiring Day” blitz to fill 2,500 part- and full-time positions between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. next Tuesday. The Phoenix-based chain said it will have open interviews at its more than 200 Sprouts markets.

A list of local job openings can be seen at sprouts.com/careers. Applications can be completed in person at the stores, but no appointment is required for an open interview on Tuesday. The minimum work age is 16.
Employment opportunities include department managers, clerks, cashiers, checkout assistants and backup receivers, administrative coordinators and scan coordinators. Sprouts said jobs being offered include benefits and in-store discounts.
Sprouts currently employs around 22,000 and operates more than 230 stores in 13 states.
