Roseville council to meet
The Roseville City Council meets at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, 311 Vernon St. Among the topics to be discussed is a proposed amendment of the Roseville Municipal Code to adjust fares for the express bus service between Roseville and the Golden 1 Center.
Bike, pedestrian plan discussed in Davis
The first public meeting of Davis Pathfinder is planned from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Veterans’ Memorial Center, 203 E. 14th St., Davis. A proposal to authorize staff to submit a grant application for the Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant Program for the development of the Regional Trails Initiative is one of the issues to be discussed at the West Sacramento City Council meeting, scheduled at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers, 1110 W. Capitol Ave.
Meetings focus on crime prevention
Two community meetings are scheduled Wednesday to inform members of the Asian American and Latino communities how to protect themselves from crime. Residents will be able to learn from law enforcement how to protect themselves from crime and how to report any crime that occurs. The meetings will be held at the George Sim Community Center, 6207 Logan St., which is near 65th Street and Lemon Hill Avenue. The first session, with translations into Vietnamese, Hmong and Mien, will be from 6 to 7:15 p.m. The second, with translations into Cantonese, Mandarin and Spanish, is from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m. Go to http://sacb.ee/7I1R for more information.
