Warm daytime temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend as a high-pressure system continues to influence weather in the Sacramento region.
The ridge of high pressure over the Western United States is expected to produce high temperatures 10 degrees above normal, with nighttime lows predicted to come in at about normal.
Daytime temperatures are expected to return to near normal by the middle of next week with a possible return of showers by Wednesday in Sacramento.
