The crew from Sacramento Fire Department Engine 20 battles a fire Monday night that consumed two boats that were being stored in a lot behind a chain-link fence on Selma Street. Crews forced entry to the yard to keep the fire contained to the two boats. The fire is suspicious in nature and under investigation, the fire department said.
Archival footage shows two steam locomotives being destroyed when they crash into each other at the 1913 California State fair. The crash was staged for the enjoyment of the gathered crowd using locomotives that were ready for the scrap heap. Enterprising businessmen had discovered they could buy the locomotives very cheaply and charge admissions to view the crash. Sometimes things did not go quite as planned with onlookers often injured by flying debris.

Fountaingrove Golf and Athletic Club employee Phil Carson filmed his arrival at the Santa Rosa property just days after the North Bay fires consumed many parts of Sonoma County. He posted the entire video on Facebook, commenting "So sad every time I watch this, hope everyone in the area got out safe."
