Help wanted sign out for Sacramento County precinct workers

Precinct officers are needed to work polling places on Election Day in Sacramento County.

“Interested parties who are residents of the State of California can work at the polls on Election Day and earn a stipend for their service,” said Jill LaVine, county registrar of voters.

Those who speaks Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, Japanese, Hindi or Vietnamese, in addition to English, may earn an additional stipend for translating. To find out how to be a precinct worker call (916) 875-6100.

The statewide primary election is June 3. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
