A second person has been arrested in connection with an early Sunday shooting on Sutter Street in Folsom that left a 30-year-old man critically injured.
Folsom police announced that Greg Scott Ashman, 26, of El Dorado Hills was arrested Wednesday in Reno. Investigators obtained a warrant for his arrest for attempted murder after they received information that he was allegedly involved in Sunday’s shooting, according to a Police Department news release. Ashman is being held without bail in Washoe County Jail pending extradition to California, police said.
The victim, a Folsom resident whose name has not been released, was shot at the entrance to the Powerhouse Pub, near Sutter and Riley streets in the city’s historic district, about 12:45 a.m. Sunday.
Police previously arrested Frank Vincent Sierras, 24, of El Dorado Hills on suspicion of attempted murder in the case. He is being held without bail in Sacramento County Jail, with a court appearance set for Friday.
Police declined to release further details in what they said is an ongoing investigation.
