A Sacramento County jury today found a 49-year-old man guilty of molesting three young children over a nearly five-year period.

Paul Anthony Harris was convicted of nine counts of lewd and lascivious conduct, according to a Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office news release.

Harris was arrested by Sacramento police in May 2010. Authorities said he knew the children through their families.

He is to be sentenced Dec. 16 by Sacramento Superior Court Judge Trena Burger-Plavan.
