Elk Grove Police are asking for the public’s help in finding an at-risk teen who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and left home without his medication.

Christian Richardson, 18, ran away Friday night because he was told he couldn’t visit his friends in Dixon, police said in a news release. He was last seen about 8 p.m. Friday at his home in the 7100 block of Elvora Way.

A family member contacted police Saturday and reported Richardson missing. Officers conducted a grid search and activated Reverse911 in their attempts find Richardson, but were unsuccessful.

Richardson is African American, 5-foot-10, 185 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about him should contact the Elk Grove Police dispatch center at (916) 691-5246.
