A Woodland man was pronounced dead Monday after his pickup left Interstate 5 and struck a tree.

The driver, Adam Robert Gunther, 29, was northbound in the fast lane of I-5 just north of West El Camino Avenue about 1:15 p.m. Monday when, according to witnesses, his pickup drifted across all lanes of the freeway.
