Davis police have released a composite sketch of a suspect sought in connection with the attempted sexual assault of a woman on Nov. 19.
The attack was reported about 10:40 p.m. The woman told officers that she was walking southbound on Mace Boulevard near El Macero Drive in south Davis when she was grabbed from behind by a man she did not know. The man dragged the victim about 12 feet through the front yard of a residence before the woman was able to free herself and flee.
During the investigation, the woman was able to describe the suspect in enough detail to compile a composite sketch, according to a Police Department news release.
The man is described as Latino, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, with a stocky build. He had short cropped hair, an unshaven beard, mustache and sideburns, and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to call Detective Ron Trn at (530) 747-5436.
