A man has been arrested for allegedly pointing a laser at the pilot in a CHP airplane.

Justin James Nesbitt, 20, was arrested on suspicion of discharging a laser at an aircraft Monday morning. He was contacted by law enforcement in the back yard of his home in the 9400 block of Mira Del Rio Drive near Bradshaw Road and Highway 50 after pointing a green laser light at a California Highway Patrol airplane, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff’s department press release.

The CHP crew was able to guide deputies to Nesbitt’s location and arrest him without incident.
