A 49-year-old man has been sentenced in Sacramento Superior Court to 135 years to life in prison for child molestation.

A jury in November convicted Paul Anthony Harris of nine counts of lewd and lascivious conduct involving three young children. Harris knew the children through their families, and the molestations spanned a period of almost five years, according to a Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office news release.

He was sentenced Monday by Sacramento Superior Court Judge Trena Burger-Plavan.
