UPDATE: Pedestrian killed on Highway 50 in West Sacramento identified as Davis man

A pedestrian who was fatally struck Tuesday morning on eastbound Highway 50, east of the Interstate 80 connector in West Sacramento, has been identified by the Yolo County Coroner’s Office as Bryson Rush Labourdette, 25, of Davis.
The incident was reported to dispatchers around 6 a.m. when someone in dark clothes was seen walking where Highway 50 and Interstate 80 merge.
A later report on the California Highway Patrol Incident page indicated that the pedestrian had run into the traffic and been hit. A body was reported in the fast lane of the Highway 50 at 6:16 a.m.
Traffic delays were experienced mostly on westbound Highway 50. All lanes reopened about 10:30 a.m., according to the CHP.
