A man was arrested for allegedly putting children at risk when police say he fired a gun in the air while driving with three children in his vehicle.
Sacramento police arrested Lorandis L. Johnson, 27, on suspicion of endangering the life of a child, discharging a firearm in a grossly negligent manner and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Police said Johnson got into an argument at a home in the Robla neighborhood near Rio Linda Boulevard and Interstate 80 about 4 p.m. Saturday. When he drove away from the scene of the argument near Bell Avenue and Englewood Street he allegedly fired a round into the air.
Police eventually arrested Johnson. He was being held Monday in Sacramento County Jail where his bail was set at $70,000.
