Motorcyclist dies in Arden Arcade crash

A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup Sunday night at an Arden Arcade intersection.
The California Highway Patrol reported that about 5:30 p.m. Sunday a pickup was headed northbound on Watt Avenue at Hurley Way. The pickup driver made a left hand turn in front of the southbound motorcycle at the intersection that is controlled by signal lights.
The pickup and the motorcycle collided. The motorcyclist, identified by the coroner as Edward V. Crist, 41, of Sacramento, was ejected and died at the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
