Two men are in Sacramento County Jail awaiting trial in the Memorial Day slayings of Benjamin Taylor, 43, and Roxanne Mason, 24, at the Arbor Ridge apartments on Oakhollow Drive in Foothill Farms.
The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department reported that Orione Chrishone Brown, 30, was arrested in June, and Justin Kadell Kennedy, 29, was arrested in October. Both are charged with murder and attempted robbery. Their next court date is Feb. 3, according to Sacramento Superior Court online records.
Taylor and Mason were found fatally shot in an entryway to the apartment complex on the afternoon of May 27. Sheriff’s officials said residents had reported hearing an argument before hearing shots, but the victims didn’t live in any of the four apartments accessed via the entryway where they were killed.
