A woman who was hit and killed by a car while crossing Florin Road Saturday evening was identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office Sunday as Joyce Keleher, 82, of Sacramento.
Shortly before 5:48 p.m. Saturday, Keleher was trying to cross Florin Road just east of 29th Street. According to Sacramento police, she apparently stepped into the road, not on a crosswalk, when she was hit by an eastbound car. City fire personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. The driver was not cited.
