Two Dixon men were arrested early Monday in connection with a vehicle burglary in Davis after police responded to a report of suspicious activity.

Police were called to the 2400 block of Moore Boulevard regarding two people looking into vehicles. When officers arrived, they spotted a vehicle leaving the site. They stopped the vehicle and contacted the two occupants, identified as Christopher Bowers, 19, and Kyle Duncan, 22. Duncan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, and a subsequent search of the vehicle turned up property that had been taken in a vehicle burglary in the 2400 block of Moore Boulevard, according to a Davis Police Department news release.

Duncan and Bowers were subsequently arrested and booked into Yolo County Jail.

In addition to driving under the influence, Duncan is accused of burglary and possessing stolen property. Bowers was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property.
