A woman who died from injuries suffered in a Land Park crash last week has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s office.

She was identified as Linda Shaw, 66, of Sacramento.

According to a Sacramento Police Department watch summary, Shaw was pulling onto Riverside Boulevard near Fourth Avenue about 11 a.m. Thursday when her car was struck by a Mercedes traveling northbound on Riverside.

Shaw was pronounced dead at the hospital. A passenger in her car, a man in his 60s, was transported to the hospital.

The driver of the northbound vehicle was transported to the hospital. Police suspect speeding may have been a factor in the crash.
