A man accused of threatening his girlfriend and robbing a senior citizen has been convicted by a Sacramento County jury of multiple counts of robbery and firearms offenses.
On May 18, Antoine Jackson, 22, and his girlfriend got into an argument in front of the residence they shared. During the argument, Jackson discharged a firearm, threatened to kill his girlfriend, then fled, according to a Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office news release.
About a week later, on May 25, he threw an older woman to the ground and stole her purse as she left a laundromat. On May 27, he committed two separate robberies while armed with a firearm in business parking lots, authorities said.
Jackson is to be sentenced March 27 in Sacramento Superior Court.
