A man who died Nov. 27 following a fight in the 200 block of O Street in downtown Sacramento has been identified by Sacramento County Coroner Kim Gin as Vincent McKinney, 51, of Olivehurst. Gin said the cause of death has not been determined.

Sacramento police arrested Arthur Bird, 41, in connection with the fight and he remains in Sacramento County Jail charged with murder in McKinney's death. An earlier report by The Bee erroneously stated that Jerome Glover, 56, had died after the fight. Glover's family said he died at the Northern California Veterans Hospital at Mather of a heart attack on Nov. 28.

Shelly Orio, a spokeswoman for the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office, confirmed that Bird is the only defendant in the case. He was arraigned Dec. 3, and his next hearing is a settlement conference scheduled for March . 19.

Sacramento police said officers located Bird in the area where McKinney was found unresponsive about 6:50 p.m. Nov. 27. Police said Bird and McKinney knew one another.
