What happened in the case of Moises Perez Pina, who was gunned down in a robbery on Stockton Boulevard and Lemon Hill Avenue on May 24, 2013?

– Salvador, Sacramento

No arrests have been made in the shooting death of Moises Perez Pina, 51,who was fatally shot as he an a companion tried to run from armed robbers.

The other man also was shot, but police said his injuries were not life-threatening.

According to stories in The Bee, the shooting occurred in the 6100 block of Stockton Boulevard shortly after 11 p.m. May 24. An initial investigation showed that the victims had been approached by two armed men who were trying to rob them. Pina and his companion were shot as they tried to leave the scene.
