The Solano County Sheriff-Coroner’s office has released name of the woman killed over the weekend on Interstate 80 near Vacaville when a large tree fell on her car.
The coroner identified the driver of the Toyota Camry as Kenneisha Dale, 22, of Oakland.
The California Highway Patrol said in a press release that Dale was driving westbound on I-80 just east of Cherry Glen Road about 1:45 p.m. Sunday at 65 mph when for an undetermined reason a large tree in a field north of the freeway fell directly onto the roof of the Toyota.
The tree crushed Dale, the sole occupant of the vehicle.
