UPDATE: Yolo County coroner identifies victim in Woodland homicide

A man fatally stabbed Tuesday night in Woodland has been identified by the Yolo County Coroner’s Office as Scott Michael Zumbrum, 33, of Woodland.
Woodland police officers who responded to the 600 block of Elm Street about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday found the victim on the ground with a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said that dispatchers had been told that a fight had occurred. Police would release no further information and the case remains under investigation.
