Sacramento police investigate Oak Park shooting that wounds man

Sacramento police are investigating a shooting this afternoon that left a man with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred about 2:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of 40th Street, in Oak Park. A man in his late 20s suffered wounds to his legs, said police Officer Doug Morse.

He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
