Sacramento police investigate Oak Park shooting that wounds man

The man, in his late 20s, suffered wounds to his legs but is expected to survive, according to police.

Sacramento police are investigating a shooting this afternoon that left a man with non-life-threatening injuries.

The shooting occurred about 2:30 p.m. in the 3600 block of 40th Street, in Oak Park. A man in his late 20s suffered wounds to his legs, said police Officer Doug Morse.

He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
