There was a double homicide in September 2013 in the 2000 block of West La Loma in Rancho Cordova that involved an 11-year-old witness. I was wondering who the victims were and if there was ever an arrest?

James Anthony Angelonis, 68, and his caregiver, Sandra Foster, were fatally shot Sept. 11, 2012 in an apartment in the 2000 block of West La Loma Drive.

The attack was witnessed by an 11-year-old girl who hid in a closet during the shooting, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department. Two assailants, described only as wearing dark clothes, reportedly rushed into the apartment about 8:30 p.m.

No arrests have been reported in the case.
